Media personality and reality show star Somizi Mhlongo has cancelled his third wedding ceremony. The event was supposed to be taking place in Italy later in the year. His cancellation came in the middle of the spread of the coronavirus issue in the country. The virus has spread in Italy over the last two months.
The Italian government has closed schools and tertiary education institutions until the 15th of March, in order to try and control the outbreak. The virus has caught up to 22 regions in Italy and has caused the deaths of over 148 citizens. Somizi and Mohale wanted to do another wedding after their recent white wedding, with the one in Italy.
After the first case of coronavirus was reported in South Africa was publicised on Thursday, the reality television star went on to state that the plans of their third wedding were cancelled. Somizi Mhlongo says, “Wedding in Italy canceled.” The couple wanted the wedding to clash with Mohale’s birthday as they told Metro FM. “We are planning our third wedding in July, on Mohale’s birthday, in Italy,” says Somizi Mhlongo. The star also planned on refunding one person who was supposedly planning on going to the wedding.
