Sonia Mbele Responds About Her Famous ‘Hallelujah’ At Crown Gospel Awards In Durban. Sonia Mbele has responded to people’s allegations that she could have been drunk or under some form of drug at the Crown Gospel Awards on Sunday.

Sonia Mbele has responded to people’s allegations that she could have been drunk or under some form of drug at the Crown Gospel Awards on Sunday. The actress and producer was seen on stage screaming ‘Hallelujah’ numerous times. She surprised people when she intervened during the announcement of the ‘Best Gospel Jazz’ award with her ‘Hallelujah’.

At the time she was with Sipho Makhabane on stage when they presented the award at the Durban ICC. The videos of the event made rounds on the internet, which had social media users asking if the actress did something or maybe she is just happy. She also stated that she was also feeling the Holy Spirit. Speak actress refuted claims that she might on something.

The actress says that she was excited to be in Durban. Sonia Mbele says, “Once I was on stage I got possessed by the Holy Spirit. I was not under the influence of anything. I had not been to Durban for some time and I was just too excited.” Sipho  supposedly says he is taken aback by the occurrence and thought that Sonia Mbele might have not been comfy with the script that was issued to her, which includes communication about gender-based violence.
