A choir from Limpopo has been making rounds because of its amazing performance in the United States of America. The Ndlovu Youth Choir, based in Limpopo from South Africa, went to audition for a spot in being one of the greatest talents. The choir went to America’s Got Talent to show off their music skills to judges such as Gabrielle Union, Simon Cowell, Julian Hough and Howie Mandel.

The judges and the audience were blown away by the choir’s singing abilities. The choir, led by their choir director Ralf Schmitt, sang the song ‘African Dream.’ They got the chance to move on to the next round of the competition after receiving a yes from every judge. Mzansi is also proud of the young girls and boys that are representing South Africa.

Tweeps went on to express how proud they are of the choir. One tweep says the group deserves to win the America’s Got Talent competition. The tweep says, “Seeing Ndlovu youth choir on AGT really had my heart burst out in pride. They actually deserve to win the competition not because of their ethnicity but because they are that good!!!!” One tweep says the choir is an inspiration because they are exploring their culture. The tweep says, “Really it’s a true inspiration to see young people exploring their culture and making [a] difference around the world…”

One tweep says the Ndlovu Youth Choir should be the one singing the South African national anthem which could maybe result in the country winning a World Cup. The tweep says, Perhaps if we had The Ndlovu Youth Choir singing our National Anthem then…1. Everyone would join in…2. We might just win a World Cup or two! Lets Get behind them to sing at all of our national games.”
