GIYANI – The Station Commander of Giyani, Brigadier Serakwana welcomed members of the South African Police Services who were deployed to Giyani by the Provincial Commissioner of Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe on Friday, 05 August 2022.
The members were deployed to assist Giyani SAPS to fight crime in order for the area to stabilise.
During the parade the Station Commander introduced his VISPOL Commander Colonel Shiviti who will be an officer in charge for all Operations during this period.
Giyani is one of the top 20 Stations in the Country contributing contact Crime and was identified by the Province as one of the Stations that needed assistance.
The members were briefed about the prevalence of crime at identified hot spot areas under the Station’s precinct.
All deployed members manifested determination and readiness to combat crime in the area.
