KWAZULU-NATAL – Criminals in the Umkhanyakude District have embarked on a new modus operandi to transport stolen vehicles. This was discovered by Jozini police officers who were conducting crime prevention duties in the early hours of this morning.
Police spotted a truck in the Jozini CBD and instructed the driver to stop. The driver stopped the truck and fled on foot, leaving the truck behind. Police opened the truck and a search was conducted. A Toyota Hilux bakkie was found in the truck.
