EASTERN CAPE – On 09 August 2020, at approximately 22:30 police received information about plans to commit theft of stock at Lower de Glen farm, Elliot. The information was followed and on arrival at the farm police came across a white Isuzu bakkie being loaded with three cattle. Police questioned the suspect about the ownership of the cattle and the suspect failed to give a satisfactory response.
A male suspect aged 52 was arrested and is expected to appear at the Elliot Magistrate’s court on tomorrow, 11 August 2020.
