Tanzania Plans On Revealing The Names Of Married Men To Protect Single Ladies. Single women have always wondered if the men they are dating are actually single or married, sometimes leading to confrontations with the wives.
Single women have always wondered if the men they are dating are actually single or married, sometimes leading to confrontations with the wives. According to CNN, Paul Makonda, a Regional Commissioner in Tanzania says that he wants to include a database that has all the men that are married. The Regional Commisioner says the database is meant to protect the single ladies.
At a news convention in Tanzania, Paul Makonda said the notion was motivated by the large amount of grievances from single ladies who have been promised to be married by men who are already married. “I have been receiving complaints from women who have been promised marriage by men, yet the men didn’t fulfil the promise. I know women who have been paying bills yet the men walked away,” says the Regional Commissioner. He went on to say that a database might be put in the regional commissioner’s office in every region in the country.
“If possible we will set up a database in the regional commissioner’s office in each region that every man who promises a woman marriage, this should be registered in the database which will allow women to check see whether the person asking is married already,” says Paul Makonda. He says that some of these men have left a lot of women “nursing heartbreaks and emotional bruises.” “You’ll find a young man successfully wooing a woman, making her leave every other thing that she does and follows you, hoping that the man will marry her only to realise he is just using her,” says the Paul Makonda.
