| GIYANI – The District Commissioner of the police in Mopani Major General Willy Mashava has warmly welcomed one hundred and seventy-four newly graduated Constables from the SAPS Academy. Major General Willy Mashava and his management on Monday 19 December 2022 oriented a team of the newly graduated Constables with welcoming address on a parade. “Respect is not gained from anyone but it is earned, you respect yourself and the next person then the process will reciprocate. In the SAPS one is defined by discipline and respect,” said Major General Mashava. The District Commissioner outlined the basics of the police, safety precautions and in his message of support Major General Mashava encouraged the members to abide by the laws of the country. Newly graduates Constables were informed by the District Commissioner that they will be posted at the nearest police stations to their respective homes during this festive season and later in the beginning of the New Year the final placement will be done by the Provincial Personnel Services.
