‘The Queen’ Actress Thembsie Matu Loses Her Husband. The actress and her husband, Peter Sebotsa, have been together for 36 years.
Thembsie Matu, also known as Petronella from Mzansi Magic’s ‘The Queen’, has encountered a tragedy last week Thursday. The actress and her husband, Peter Sebotsa, have been together for 36 years. The actress let her followers on Instagram know about the tragedy that happened in her home, she told her followers know about the incident today (Friday).
“Last Thursday, I tragically lost my dear husband, my rock, whom I’ve been with for 36 years,” says the actress. She went on to say that the family has been having a hard time dealing with the issue, she also asked people to pray for her. Thembsie Matu says, “It’s been a very difficult time for us, and we ask that you keep us in your prayers as we plan for the funeral, and the days after that. We’re a family that trusts God, and we believe that he will carry us through.”
The actress told Sowetan Live that her husband was floating in their home pool in Alberton in Johannesburg when she found him. People sent their condolences to the actress, including the Executive producer of Mzansi Magic’s ‘The Queen’, Connie Ferguson. The Executive producer said that there are praying for the family during their tragic time.
