Tweeps Furious Over Young Welkom Woman’s Gruesome Murder. His apprehension was made after the police discovered the body of the 21-year-old Naledi in Dagbreek in Welkom.
A 19-year-old pupil that was reportedly part of a torturous killing of a young lady by the name of Naledi Lethoba was apprehended after his parents gave him over to the authorities on Tuesday. His apprehension was made after the police discovered the body of the 21-year-old Naledi in Dagbreek in Welkom.
The police spokesperson, Captain Stephen Thakeng says, “The body was found with a knife stuck in her neck, both breasts cut off and burn wounds on her lower body and face.” Tweeps are furious over the 21-year-old’s killing; some asked the justice system to take its course over the event.
One tweep says, “Another young woman brutally murdered in South Africa. This is someone’s daughter she had (a) family that loves (loved) he.” One tweep says the death sentence should be brought back for these types of people. The tweep says, “I feel like death sentence should be brought back!! A life for a life!! My thing is, those people will be walking in no time!!”One tweep says, “How cruel can one be to murder someone, cut off their breasts, stab them and burn their face, women will never be safe in this world, I for one second the notion to bring back the death penalty.”
Some tweeps were heartbroken when they saw what happened. One tweep says, “my heart is sore after watching that video.” One tweep says, I just saw the video ya (of) Naledi being killed! How can one be so crue! How?!!!” One tweep says the people made her sick to her stomach. The tweep says, “Sick to my stomach. Everyone in that video, including the one recording ,should be arrested and they should all rot in jail. Animals. Just vile.”
Naledi was a pupil at a TVET college by the name of Goldfields. The 19-year-old suspect was in court today (Thursday) at the Magistrates Court in Welkom. He is set to stay in prison for another two weeks. He will stay behind bars until June 14, where he is set to get a formal bail application.
