Graduations are amazing ceremonies that allow people to be happy for the obstacles they have jumped throughout their tertiary education. People on social media have been posting about their beautiful achievements, with some people proposing at the event. This time a proposal totally backfired.
A video recording of a proposal that allegedly backfired at one graduation ceremony made rounds on social media. The video recording started with a man who graduated standing on one knee to propose to another woman who is also graduating. The woman said yes to the proposal.
However, things changed in the second part of the video. Another graduate came to confront the guy graduate. She confronted the guy about the engagement. The man tried to explain himself but it didn’t help him at all. The woman that he proposed to took out the ring and the women left.
The incident had a lot of tweeps laughing. One tweep said the man needs Jesus and all of the 12 apostles for his actions, the tweep named all the 12 apostles. One tweep referenced the alleged polygamy rule that was given at Eswatini. The tweep said: “Didn’t he mistake himself to be Eswatini by a slim chance?”
One tweep confirmed that the incident happened at the University of KwaZulu-Natal yesterday (Thursday). One tweep said proposing at a graduation is turning into a trend. The tweep said: “Damn this is becoming a trend.” Other tweeps said that it was all part of an act because the graduates were studying drama.
