Tweeps React To The Big Secret’s HIV Cured Story. She told the story of how she was raped by her gobela (trainer) when she went to the gobela for sangoma training.
The season premiere of the South African reality show The Big Secret season was on screens last night on BET Africa. Masechaba Ndlovu was introduced as the new host of the show. Twitter was both emotional about the secrets that the guest had but they were also confused about how the sangoma (traditional healer) drained the HIV virus from the subject.
The reality show hosts people that want to tell their deep secrets to those they love. Last night the show introduced the country to a sangoma by the name of Yolanda. She told the story of how she was raped by her gobela (trainer) when she went to the gobela for sangoma training.
Even though her story made people emotional, viewers ended up being confused when she said that she had HIV but she was then a sangoma helped her drain the virus out of her body. Yolanda says that she ended up being HIV negative again. Viewers were questioning whether what she said was real or not, with some of them questioning the authenticity of the show.
