Pride is a pretty crazy thing that makes people do weird things. Sometimes the weird things could be stupid or unnecessary based on the protection of your “dignity.” Tweeps are victims of this crazy thing called pride. The tweeps went on to say what they won’t do because of pride.
The tweeps used the hashtag #MyPrideDoesNotAllowMeTo. One tweep says he can’t his sister’s boyfriend. The tweep says, “#MyPrideDoesNotAllowMeTo Greet my sister’s [boyfriend], no matter how drunk I am.” One tweep notes that he blocked his girlfriend on Twitter. The tweep says, “#MyPrideDoesNotAllowMeTo unblock my girl Twitter…” Some tweeps says they can’t contact people again without response. One tweep says, “#MyPrideDoesNotAllowMeTo leave more than 2 missed calls.” Another tweep says, “#MyPrideDoesNotAllowMeTo text again without your response.” One tweep says, “#MyPrideDoesNotAllowMeTo text/call first I could be dying to talk to you but my pride…”
