Mzansi was left heartbroken when they heard the news of Senzo Mayiwa’s father’s passing away this morning. The late Bafana Bafana goalkeeper’s father passed away due to stroke. The passing away also left the family shocked because they didn’t expect him to pass away suddenly. Tweeps laid their condolences for the family, some tweeps were also sad because the father , Sam Meyiwa, passed away before he could even see justice served for the murder of his son. However, some tweeps dragged Kelly Khumalo into the whole situation all over again.
The singer and the goalkeeper were at her house in Vosloorus at the time of the murder. Some tweeps allegedly believe that the singer has something to do with it, with some wholly believing that she is hiding something. The singer has spoken about the whole incident numerous times on the media and she has also publicised her disappointment in the police for not finding the culprit. Some of the tweeps stood up for Kelly as some tweeps were bashing her for allegedly being involved in the whole situation.
One tweep says, “I don’t know why yall blame Kelly Khumalo, drag her every day. If yall can use the same energy, drag the SAPS every day. Trust me, if Kelly is Guilty they will arrest (would have arrested her).” Another tweep says people will act as if they were concerned when Kelly Khumalo starts suffering from depression. The tweep says, “Twitter is f***ed up with many bullies they kill Kelly Khumalo [with] depression [and] start asking questions [like] why didn’t she ask for help…” One tweep says, “People witness criminal activities that never get solved every day and no one ever points a finger at them for those crimes. Kelly Khumalo is just an easy target, I feel sorry for her soul.”
