Twitter Reacts To Bonang’s Response To Euphonik’s ‘We Are Trash’ Statement. This has also started making some men understand the meaning of #AllMenAreTrash.
The rape and murder of UCT student Uyinene Mrwetyana has sparked the pride in some woman to oust their male oppressors. Some of the men may have oppressed the woman with physical violence and some of them have sexually assaulted their victims. This has also started making some men understand the meaning of #AllMenAreTrash. One of these men is music producer and DJ, Euphonik.
The music producer released a tweet saying, “We are trash…” The tweet got a comment from media personality and businesswoman, Bonang Matheba. The ‘Being Bonang’ star used a word that Euphonik once used and got him in a bit of deep waters. The media personality says, “NONKE!” The word basically translates to all of you. The response reminded tweeps of the supposed physical violence that Bonang Matheba endured at the hand of the music producer.
Some of the tweeps let him know that they will never forget that he once allegedly assaulted the media personality. One tweep says, “This is the greatest thing I’ve seen on Twitter all week. Remember when Euphonik laid his hands on Queen B. And now he comes with this tweet, and Bonang uses his “Nonke against him! I stan!!!!” One tweep says, “I’ve been waiting for this moment for years.” One tweep says, “We remember what he did to you and he went around calling you uhlanyo (crazy), that alone says a lot. His day will come.” One tweep says, “Bonang just teared this [one] apart” One tweep says, “I’m super proud of Bonang…super super proud. Taking back your power from abuse requires a lot.”
