Twitter Wants Action To Be Taken For The Deceased #ParkTownBoysHigh Boy Enoch Mpianzi. Enoch Mpianzi was found dead on Friday the 17th of January at an orientation camping trip for Parktown Boys’ High School.
Enoch Mpianzi was found dead on Friday the 17th of January at an orientation camping trip for Parktown Boys’ High School. The 13-year-old boy drowned at the school trip on Wednesday, he was apparently not wearing a life jacket. It was recognised that he was missing for an approximate of 17 hours.
The people that work for the school realised on Thursday that the boy was missing on Thursday. Enoch Mpianzi drowned after a raft that they made with 12 other learners capsized. However, Twitter can’t let the school off the hook after the boy was missing for some time. The tweeps want something to be done for the 13-year-old boy. Some people didn’t like the fact that some news sites spoke about the family’s financial situation, which apparently moved the attention away from the ones that need to be questioned.
“I find it problematic that particular media houses went as far as reporting on the financial circumstances of [Enoch Mpianzi} family, thus deflecting attention from those who were left in charge of ensuring his & other learners’ safety. It is also DEHUMANIZING,” says activist Sam Beynon. Lawyer and social media influencer Tumi Sole says, “Heads must roll at Park Town Boys! No amount of spinning will help this school. You can’t rely on an indemnity clause for gross negligence!” Gigi Lamayne says, “Can we please use the same energy to raise funds and awareness for a good lawyer for Enoch’s family the same way we were outchea for the wedding and stuff because wow.”
