Sunday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the R24 Rustenburg Road in Krugersdorp.
Reports from the scene indicate that a light delivery vehicle and a heavy motor vehicle were involved in a collision.
Medics assessed the scene and found that two adult females had sustained minor injuries.
The patients were found to be in a stable condition.
It was alleged that the driver of the bakkie swerved to avoid a head on collision with the truck.
All necessary authorities were on scene.
