Police’s swift response led to the arrest of two suspects in Sandton on Saturday morning, 15 May 2021. Police were stopped while patrolling the area and informed about a business robbery in progress at a clinic.
The suspects jumped from a back gate of the clinic and ran into the veld, police chased the suspects and arrested them in possession of laptops, computers and other items.
The suspects will be charged with possession of suspected stolen property and business robbery. They are expected to appear at Randburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 17 May 2021.
Johannesburg Metro Police members were visiting the members who are guarding the clinic in Sandton and upon arrival, police found the guards tied up and noticed a suspect running. JMPD members flagged down a passing SAPS van and backup was called leading to the swift arrest of two suspects.
