A two-year-old girl was in a bad condition at Witbank in Mpumalanga. This is after the train impacted a car that she into on Tuesday. The two older people in the car only had intermediate bruises and marks. The event directly happened at the Jackaroo crossing in Witbank.
The emergency response team, ER24, paramedics got to the scene discovering a car that has been just off the side of the tracks. The woman, man and the two-year-old child were discovered seating outside of the car. Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson, says the response team got to the scene a little after 10am.
The medical staff examined the two-year-old girl, the man and the woman. They discovered that although the parents had intermediated marks, the child suffered several incidents thereby putting her in a severe condition. The man and woman were treated for their bruises and the two-year-old girl was given the advanced life support interventions. They were taken to a close private hospital after they got treated. They headed to the hospital for further treatment. The reasons surrounding the accident are not known as of yet. The relevant authorities were at the place where the accident occurred for more examinations.
