The third day (Monday, 12 July 2021) of South African Police Service (SAPS) vaccination drive in North West saw 350 employees turning up to get their jabs at Potchefstroom vaccination site. The site has been operational since the provincial vaccination roll out on Thursday, 8 July 2021. To date, 676 employees have been vaccinated at the site.
The Administration Clerk at Potchefstroom SAPS Garage, Katliso Mofokeng had this to say after getting her jab: “I feel relieved. I have been waiting for this and I am proud because I am the first employee at the garage to vaccinate.” Another Administration Clerk, Wiseman Mavudhla said that everything went well and that he did not feel any pain and said further that he encourages fellow employees to get vaccinated. “I am pleased that I have participated. I am making an appeal to all employees to come and get their jabs”, said Captain Bakang Mocwane.
