The deployment of various police units in conjunction with provincial and municipal traffic in George as part of ‘Vhutu Hawe’ operations yielded positive results with the following successes:
- 146 – Vehicles stopped and searched
- 42 – Fines issued for traffic offences to the value of R73,500
- 13 – Vehicles impounded
Deputy Provincial Commissioner Visible Policing, Major General Manci, visited the operations and thanked the members deployed for their commitment.
