Victims Of Alleged Criminal Player Are Asked To Come Forward By Stellenbosch Officials. The people that were affected by a supposed fraudster are being looked for by the Stellenbosch police officials.

The people that were affected by a supposed fraudster are being looked for by the Stellenbosch police officials in the Western Cape. This is after the criminal player was caught by the officials. The man is accused of reeling in wealthy ladies and then stealing from them thereafter. It is alleged that the man, Rudi Brits, became friends with wealthy, white women through social media.

The friendship then allegedly moved on to being romantic, according to Sergaeant Noloyiso Rwexana, the police spokesperson. The man is said to then borrow money from the women after moving in with them. The police spokesperson says, “After moving in with the victims, he would borrow substantial amounts of money from them and disappear with the money and expensive household goods.” Colonel Deon Beneke, the Stellenbosch acting station commander, is organising 20 cases that are linked to fraud and theft that happened from 2010 to November 2019, the time the suspect was apprehended by the Eastern Cape Flying Squad.

Rudi Brits is in the hands of the police officials. He is set to make a bail application at the Stellenbosch Magistate’s Court on the 6th of February, according to the police spokesperson. The women that were the man’s victims are asked to come forward.
