A puppy was found by dog rescue workers on Saturday in the United States of America. The puppy was discovered outside in the freezing cold, it reportedly had the starting phases of frostbite on one of its paws. The puppy was discovered with another dog that they believe might be the father.
The puppy is a Narwhal and the other dog that was found, named Poppa Smurf, is a Daschund Terrier mix, which makes them think the puppy has some Daschund blood in it. The puppy, named ‘Narwhal the Little Magical Furry Unicorn’, has been getting a lot of attention online because of its extra tail, the tail is on its forehead. The puppy doesn’t have a tusk-like canine tooth coming out like any other Narwhal.
The Narwhal puppy has a short, stubby between its eyes, it moves when it moves its head. There were scans that were taken showing that the tail is not linked to anything, meaning it has no employment from what they can see. However, there’s also no need to remove the tail because it doesn’t pain the puppy, meaning that they might keep it. The dog rescue organisation, Mac’s Mission, posted on Facebook saying, “The unicorn face tail does not bother Narwhal and he never slows down just like any normal puppy.”
