Watch! Family Finds Out Family Member Is Alive And They Buried The Wrong Person #Nokuthula. A video of a family that reunited with their long lost member made rounds on the internet.
A video of a family that reunited with their long lost member made rounds on the internet. The family and the community thought the person they buried was the woman, Nokuthula. However, it turned out that the woman was in Cape Town and they buried the wrong person. The story was aired on SABC 1’s ‘Cutting Edge’.
The reason why the video made rounds on the internet was because of one of the family members’ reply to seeing the woman for the first time in a long while. The song even had people at a Maphorisa event, apparently at the Rands, saying out her name during one of his songs. Black Twitter reacted to the video and the video of people at the Maphorisa event. One tweep says, “It just hit me that Nokthula went on “sgidla waar” missions ad didn’t go home for 4 years. Guys do know how care free you must be to leave your kids at home and your family even has a funeral.”
One tweep says, “So Nokuthula took a truck from Pe to Cape Town and only paid R5…She’s a boss…” Another tweep says, “I was actually laughing at that Cry from the Mother Nokthula…why.” One tweep says, “…that Nokthula video took me out for a good hour.” Some tweeps felt sorry for the family for having to experience what they did with Nokthula. One tweep says, “Jokes aside. This [Nokuthula] issue is disturbing, So the SAPS didn’t bother to run forensic tests like Fingerprints when her family identified the body? There’s a family out there looking for their daughter that Nokuthula’s [family] buried and they’ll never find out what really happened…”
