Watch! Japanese Fans Practice The SA National Anthem. South African rugby players have been receiving a lot of love in Japan since they touched down.
South African rugby players have been receiving a lot of love in Japan since they touched down. The 2019 Rugby World Cup seems to have excited the Japanese fans and politicians in Japan in a good way. As if showing them around Japan and the traditions in the country wasn’t enough. The country’s rugby fans formed a choir at the Kumbagaya stadium, alongside the mayor of the area.
The rugby fans sang the South African national anthem with brilliance. Over 400 people were at the stadium to practice singing the South African national anthem. Japan is set on making the world cup a great event for everyone, which also includes singing the national anthems of other countries along with the squads. Some of the South African tweeps were shocked by the way the Japanese fans sang the national anthem.
One tweep says, “Wow…They sing better than most of Our Brothers and Sisters…” One tweep says, “This is heart warming really…” One tweep says, “Japanese are the best people on earth.” One tweep wanted to hear how they sound with the Afrikaans part before it got cut. The tweep says, “…I wanted to hear the Afrikaans!!!” One tweep says, “Wow thi is impressive yoh…” One tweep says, “They sing it well, way better than some South Africans…”
