A diamond ring is the most beautiful and loved forms of engaging to someone. However, diamond rings are quite expensive. Hence why, a Japanese man decided to collect his own nail clippings for over a year. According to Daily Mail, the man used his nail clippings for as his engagement ring.
The man showed the procedure of how he used the clippings as an engagement ring. The man first started blending the nail clippings first but the clippings weren’t fine enough for him. He then chose to ground the nail clippings so he could get the consistency he wanted. He then combined the powdery nail clippings with water.He then squeezed the powdery nail clipping and water mixture, then inserting it into an oven for 90 minutes.
He then showed the final look of the ring after the process. It was a black sticky form that he moulded into the form of a diamond. After moulding it into a diamond form he then put it in a silver band, which ended up being the final ring product. Social media users reacted to the man’s effort of making an engagement ring. One social media user says, “I’m utterly disgusted and yet entirely fascinated at the same time.” One user says, “Never accept a breakfast, lunch, or dinner from this guy.” One user says, “I admire the creativity in the project…but that’s still gross.”
