Watch! Mayor Hauled Through Streets For Failing To Fulfil Promise Of Fixing Road. It is reported that he was hauled because he allegedly failed to fulfil his promise of fixing a road in the village.
A mayor from a village in Mexico was coerced out of his office and hauled by residents. The mayor, Jorge Luis Escandon Hernandez, was hauled through the streets with a truck on Tuesday. It is reported that he was hauled because he allegedly failed to fulfil his promise of fixing a road in the village.
This is the second moment where the farmers of the village have attacked the mayor, according to ‘BBC’. The mayor’s office was ruined four months ago when they couldn’t find him there. The Washington Post reports that some of the workers tried to stop the angry mob but they were not successful against the farmers. A video shows a vehicle driving through the streets with the mayor’s hands tied behind the car.
Police officers managed to remove the mayor from the horrific incident. It was also stated that the mayor didn’t sustain any severe injuries. Reports state that the 11 individuals were apprehended at Las Margaritas for their part in the mayor’s attack. It took about a dozen police officials to stop the car and save the mayor. BBC reports that some individuals were hurt in the tussle between the people who took the mayor and police officers.
