A video of a pastor, supposedly from Uganda hitting some of his congregants went viral on social media. The Pastor, Paul Muwanguzi, was supposedly hitting the congregants for not coming to church the Previous Sunday. The person who shared the video says, “Pastor Paul Muwanguzi canes his followers who didn’t turn up for church service the previous Sunday.”
In the video, the congregants can be seen lying down on the floor while they get hit. The sound of the cane can also be heard in the video while another person speaks in the background. The congregants then get back up and leave. Social media users reacted to the video recording. One tweep says, “Indeed “religion is the opium of the masses”…”
One tweep says, “the lord once said “my people are suffering due to lack of knowledge”…” One tweep says, “…am I a kid to be beaten, I can’t at any order.” One tweep says, “I am of Christian proclivity, but no I cannot be [caned] for missing church no matter what or who, having said that Christianity and religion at large is the largest human conditioning and programming in the history of humanity.” One tweep says, “this guy clearly has their loyalty at 101%.”
