WESTERN CAPE – Five suspects apprehended for house robbery in Muizenberg

WESTERN CAPE – The vigilance and swift reaction by members of the Western Cape Flying Squad resulted in the arrest of five suspects for house robbery. Shortly after the suspects perpetrated the robbery at a residential property in Muizenberg yesterday morning, the Flying Squad members reacted to the complaint and pursued the vehicle in Strandfontein where it was pulled over.

The stolen household goods were retrieved and it was established that the vehicle, a Toyota Verso was hijacked in Athlone earlier this month. The total value of the stolen property is estimated at R200 000-00. Once charged, the suspects aged between 18 and 24 are expected to make a court appearance in Mitchells Plain.
