WESTERN CAPE – As part of an ongoing investigation into the murder of former Grabouw school principal, Ms Zameka Mfubesi, Western Cape Organised Crime detectives are seeking the assistance of members of the public in locating a person of interest, Sizwe Bebula. The detectives believe he holds key to information that could assist their investigation that is already at an advanced stage. Bebula is in his thirties (see attached photo).
Ms Mfubesi, who was a school principal at Umyezo Wama Apile High School, was shot and killed on the N2 near the Grabouw turn-off on 18 September 2020.
Following her murder, the Western Cape Department of Education and the Mfubesi family jointly offered a R30 000 reward for information that could lead to the successful arrest, prosecution and conviction of the perpetrator/s.
